Courtney Love responsible for Nirvana's downfall, says book
London, Sept 16 (ANI): Singer Courtney Love is responsible for the breakdown of her husband Kurt Cobain's band Nirvana, says a new book.
In his book 'Bumping Into Geniuses', former record executive Danny Goldberg claimed that the Love led to the downfall of Cobain's career and pushing him into drugs and debauchery.

He said that the 44-year-old songtress acted as Cobain's "mouthpiece" and once demanded that Goldberg give them a huge amount of cash, which they were allegedly planning to spend on a heroin binge.
"I felt pretty uncomfortable as I delivered the package of 100 dollars bills to her at the hotel," the Daily Express quoted him, as writing in the book.
"Abruptly, the dark cloud of drug excess had entered the band's life. I was confronted by the baroque facade of lies and the awful glassy-eyed deadness that regular heroin use provides."
"Courtney's very presence was a metaphor for the end of one era in the band's life and the beginning of another," he added.
The book is scheduled to hit shelves later this month. (ANI)
