Kuala Lumpur, July 28 (ANI): Malaysian Indian kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi has been granted leave by the Ipoh High Court on her application for full trial in her application for a judicial review to quash her three children's conversion to Islam.

According to The Star, Indira Gandhi, who was granted custody of her three children, Prasana Diksa, Tevi Darsiny, and Karan Dinish, by the court on March 11, is seeking to quash her children's conversion to Islam by their father, K. Pathmanathan, whose Muslim name is Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah, without her consent.

Pathmanathan was earlier granted custody of the children by the Syariah High Court but his stay petition was rejected by the civil court saying that the Syariah verdict didn't imply on his wife as she had not converted to Islam. (ANI)
