India in touch with Congo over kidnapping of pilot

New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): The Indian Government is in touch with the Government of Congo on finding out details of a kidnapped Indian pilot.

 

Official sources said India is in touch with Congo over the safety of the pilot.

 

Congolese rebels are reported to have taken the Indian co-pilot as a hostage, when they attacked an aircraft on a remote airstrip in a tin mining area of Walikale in North Kivu province.

 

Congolese Army General Baigwa Dieudonne Amuli has held Rwandan Hutu FDLR rebels responsible for the attack. (ANI)
