Karak, Jul 27 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rehmat Salam Khattak has alleged that the PPP-led federal Government has extended the tenure of Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at the behest of the United States.

Addressing a public gathering at Terri on Monday, Rehmat Salam alleged the country needed brave leadership to pull it out of the prevailing crisis and talk to the US boldly.

He alleged that the sovereignty of the country is at stake and the rulers are busy in misappropriating the national wealth.

Rehmat Salam said fake degrees holders had no right to represent the people of their constituencies anymore and should resign, and claimed that only the PML-N leadership could resolve the problems of the country.

Rehmat Salam urged the people to participate in the membership drive of the PML-N wholeheartedly for purging the country of what he said were thieves. (ANI)
