Capital on high alert after IBā??s input of terror strike
Dec 03: The capital has been put on high alert after receiving possibly terror strike from the Intelligence Bureau (IB). The IB has made attentive Delhi Police to be vigilant as they have inputs of terror strike within the next couple of weeks.
The Indian Intelligence Bureau has informed Delhi Police Commissioner that militants from Lashkar-e-Toiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Harkat-ul-Jihadi-al-Islami outfits may strike in the coming days.
With the alert notice the Delhi Police has become highly watchful in all crowded places including railway stations, airports, metro stations and all other public places. People have also been noticed through television and radio to keep an eye on any suspicious person and report to the police immediately.
Though it is almost impossible to guard all possible places like market, malls, and rail, bus and metro stations police has deployed all kinds of extra measures like dog squads, bomb disposal squads and additional police forces at all prominent places.
Police have also asked all cyber café owners and mobile number providers to keep proper records of all customers as militants these days are using sophisticated technologies like mobile phones to blow up explosive devices.
However, as it is difficult for the police force to guard every locality, it is informed to all that be cautious of any such person or thing that you may find doubtful and do inform police as soon as possible to avoid any misshapenness.
Meanwhile, it is important for the police and intelligence agency to track down any such thing before it takes a larger shape.
