Dungeon dad hopes to rent out flats in 'House of Horrors'
London, Sept 15 (ANI): Dungeon dad Josef Fritzl is hoping to rent out flats in the "House of Horrors"- the three-storey house where he kept his daughter Elisabeth as a sex slave for 24 long years.
Accused of incest and fathering seven children with his daughter, Fritzl has hired a second lawyer to deal with his property, and to rent out the flats in his much-publicised Amstetten property.
Before Elisabeth's dungeon ordeal came to light, Fritzl used to live upstairs with his wife Rosemarie and three of the children he fathered with his 42-year-old daughter.
The other flats in the house were rented out until Fritzl's arrest, but later horrified tenants terminated their contracts and moved out.
"We could not endure living so close to the torture cellar and being reminded every day of it. That is why we wanted nothing but to get out of there and start a new life with our children somewhere else," the Telegraph quoted a former tenant as saying.
However, now Fritzl is under no legal compulsions to rent out the upstairs flats.
Reports suggest that Fritzl has hired Dr Karl Bernhauser, a prominent Vienna lawyer, to handle the property issues for him. (ANI)
