Cast of the upcoming film 'Udaan' promotes the film in Mumbai

Munbai, July 15 (ANI): Bollywood director-turned-producer Anurag Kashyap promoted his upcoming movie 'Udaan' in Mumbai.

The film is directed by Vikram Aditya Motwane and it is about a small-town boy and his aspirations. The film features Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor, and Suman Mastkar in the lead roles.

During the promotion, debutant actor Barmecha talked to media about his character in the movie.

"He also has lot of dreams and he wants to be a writer and his dad wants him to be an engineer. So he goes to an engineering college but at the end he fulfils his dreams. So it's about that," he said.

Motwane further said that the film would cater to all audiences.

"There is something for everybody in the film. It has something that every one has either been through, or gone through, or going through," said the director.

To reach out easily to young crowds, the film is also being promoted through various social networking sites.

'Udaan' is the only official Indian entry at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival.The film is scheduled to release on July 16. (ANI)
