Daniel Radcliffe says turning down 'Equus' would've been 'moronic'
Washington, September 14 (ANI): Daniel Radcliffe owns up that letting his Broadway debut with 'Equus' pass would have been "moronic".
Preparing as a troubled young teen in Peter Shaffer's psychological drama, The Harry Potter star would be seen playing the central role of Alan Strang, who suffers from a strange sexual fascination with horses.

"For me, it seemed I would have to be really moronic not to take the part... The stage is much more a test of nerve (than film) and seeing what you are made of. It would be very easy to do simple stuff. It doesn't really interest me that much...", Contactmusic quoted him saying.
Wanting to test his abilities, Radcliffe further added: "Every actor has limits. It's sort of testing out where they are. Luckily, I haven't found them yet. I suppose the thing I've learned is that I think I am more capable than I thought I was... There are a lot of actors who think you can just go on stage and do it - you can't."
While Radcliffe hopes the play to be as successful in US as it was in Britain at London's West End last year, the play itself shall open on 25 September running until 8 February, 09. (ANI)
