London, Sept 14 (ANI): Matt Damon and Wyclef Jean have extended their support to relief efforts for thousands of flood victims in Haiti.

They are urging others to help the United Nations raise nearly 60 million dollars for an estimated 800,000 people affected by four devastating tropical storms and hurricanes.

Damon and Jean went to the western coastal town of Cabaret to distribute food to an estimated 600 people sheltered in a school, reports the Daily Express.

Later, they are expected to travel to the flooded village of Gonaives.

At least 331 people in Haiti have died of storms since mid-August. (ANI)
