London, July 10 (ANI): Naomi Campbell will be attending Charles Taylor's war crimes trial to give evidence about "blood diamond," which she allegedly received from Liberia's former president.

"Naomi Campbell has confirmed she will attend the Charles Taylor trial at The Hague as per the court's request. She is a witness who has been asked to help clarify events in 1997," the Telegraph quoted her spokesman as saying.

"Miss Campbell has made it clear that she is willing to help the due process of law."

"For avoidance of doubt she is not being accused of any wrongdoing and is not on trial," the spokesman added from The Outside Organisation PR firm.

Taylor's henchmen allegedly handed the supermodel a 'huge' rough diamond after a charity dinner held at Nelson Mandela's house in 1997.

Mia Farrow, the Hollywood actress, who was at the same event, made the claim and said Campbell told her that she had been given the gift.

However, Campbell has repeatedly denied this claim. (ANI)
