BJP hits out at UPA Government

Bangalore, Sept 13 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lambasted the Congress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government on the issues of inflation and terrorism in Bangalore on Saturday.

 

Briefing media of the party's three-day conclave, which began on Friday, Raman Singh, Chief Minister of Chattisgarh took the government to task on several accounts including the vexed one of inflation and terrorism.

 

"These four issues are the central focal points of our political resolution and the focal points of our campaign also. Number one, inflation and price rise. Number two, terrorism especially soft (stance) on terrorism, policy of the Union Government, which had led to insecure India under UPA. Number three, agrarian prices and number four, the vote bank politics and appeasement politics of the UPA," said Singh.

 

The hard-hitting resolution of the party also includes the issue of the India-US Civil Nuclear deal.

 

With general elections round the corner, the party has also decided to launch a nation wide campaign, which would be spearheaded by its prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani. (ANI)
