Nov 29: Indian grandmaster Krishnan Sasikiran was more than satisfied after playing another swift draw with Vadim Zvjaginsev of Russia in the second game of the second round of the World Cup Chess championship in Khanty Mansiysk.
Both the players agreed for a draw in mere 22 moves and now they will clash in Rapid format to break the ice and in case no results come out in the Rapid format then they will play two Blitz games. After the Blitz games the final result will be decided by sudden death.
Earlier Sasikiran started off his second round campaign playing a draw against Russian GM Vadim Zvjaginsev at the chess World Cup in Khanty Mansiysk, Russia on Tuesday.
Sasikiran, the only Indian left in the fray, settled for draw after playing with black pieces in the first game of the match.
Both the players were going closely together and decided to go for a draw on the 21st move in an evenly balanced contest.
