Designers showcase their collections at a charity show in Mumbai
Mumbai, June 17 (ANI): Fashion designers showcased their collections at a charity fashion show organized here on Wednesday.
Organized by StyleKandy magazine in association with a voluntary organization 'Breakthrough', the show was aimed to spread awareness towards domestic violence against women.
The show with a tag line 'Bell Bajao' had the whole fashion fraternity supporting the cause.
Prominent designers like Archana Kocchar, Rocky S, Neeta Lulla and Krishna Mehta showcased their collections.
Kocchar said that awareness is the only way to eradicate domestic violence.
"I think domestic violence is something that needs awareness and the only way to eradicate it is by awareness. So Bell Bajao is a great campaign and Stylekandy and fashion associated with it is great and I think domestic violence, the way to end it is for all of us to realize that charity begins at home," said Kochhar.
"The collection that I showcased called 'Gray Matter' and the entire collection was in gun metal gray. We broke it with a fashion pink. So it was a play of colour," added Kocchar.
Playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan walked the ramp for Kocchar. (ANI)
