The Pakistan Embassy here has complained to the authorities regarding an article published in a local magazine referring Jammu and Kashmir as an Indian province.


Mohammed Salim, deputy head of the Pakistan Mission here said, “The area mentioned in the report is a disputed state that is recognised by India and the United Nations. We have complained to the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the case.”

The entire issue surfaced after Bahrain Traveller, a local magazine here stated in its tourism section that Jammu and Kashmir was an Indian state. According to the magazine website, it has over 140,000 readers and is sold regionally and internationally.

A senior official from the publication said they were consulting with specialists regarding the issue.

“I am a bold writer and am responsible for what is written. We will issue a statement or hold a press conference to clarify on the issue, “the magazine official said.

The Bahrain Ministry of Information is also informed by officials regarding the article and sources said the Ministry logo printed in the tourism report will be removed from the publication.

Bahrain, a close US ally is home to over 50,000 Pakistanis and 300,000 Indians.

this is the good, everyone is witnesssing that Kashmir is disptued terriority, and it is illegal occupation of India on Kashmir from 1947 to till today, More than 2 lack common massess were killed from last 62 years.
The write of this article should clearfy the issue, Kashmir is not the part of India, nor Pakistan, It was independent and it will remain independent in near furture, otherwise, it will be dangerous for the whole south east asia.
