Trackon to sponsor Garhwal Heroes

Nov 27:  Garhwal Heroes becomes the champion of Delhi Soccer Association league in the year 1986

Capital’s one of the oldest football club Garhwal Heroes will be sponsored by the country’s leading courier company Trackon Couriers Pvt. Ltd. in the ongoing season of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) senior division league.

Former DSA league champion Garhwal Heroes club will now play under the banner of their sponsors as ‘Trackon Garhwal Heroes’. The Trackon Couriers Pvt. Ltd. has done exceedingly well in a very short span that no other firm could achieve in the field of Postal industry. It has got an annual turnover of Rs 40 crore and more than 1000 branches across the country.

According to Trackon’s Chief Managing Director (CMD), P K Anand, “It’s been a proud and delightful moment for my company to get associated with one of the oldest and renowned football club of the city.”

CMD Anand appealed to the players and the officials of the club to repeat the 1986 DSA champion glory and also assured them that he is ready to everything for the club to attain greater heights.

Talking to NewstrackIndia correspondent, Garhwal Heroes Football club Treasurer Magan Singh Patwal confirmed that club has also roped in few foreign players for the current season.

‘We will try our hard to keep up the reputation of our sponsors and the pride of Garhwali people living in the capital, who relied their trust on us,” Patwal added.

The sponsors have provided full kit to every player apart from cash emoluments. The kit includes T-shirt, Shorts, Stockings, Shoes, Tracksuits and Kit bags.

All the players have been distributed kits at a function organised at Sh. K C Bawa’s residence, club’s chief Patron and Member of Parliament from Nanital.

Garhwal Heroes club’s Patron Bhagat Singh Negi, President Bhagwan singh Negi, Vice-President Alam Singh and Secretary Anil Singh Negi were also present on the occasion.
