Darbhanga (Bihar), Apr 16 (ANI): Umesh Mukhiya, an artist in Bihar's Darbhanga District is engaged in a unique art of making pictures of dignitaries inside the bottles.
Called the Bottle art, pictures of celebrities and politicians are made inside the bottle.
"The art of making pictures inside the bottles is unique and I have learned this art from Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district after completing my education. It takes two days time to make this art inside the bottle apart from that I can also make pictures of dignitaries on the plain mirror without using paint and colors. I have also gifted some of the pictures to many celebrities and politicians," said Mukhiya
Mukhiya is inspired by his teacher and has been practicing this art for many years.
Mukhiya has made pictures of celebrities and politicians like Amitabh Bacchan, Pramod Mahajan, Laxmi Mittal, Amar Singh, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Ram Vilas Paswan, Sonia Gandhi, Shatrughan Sinha and Atal Bihari Vajpayee inside the bottles.
"This art is very good and Umesh is very good at it as well as the art is unique. He creates pictures inside the bottle which is very tough and we feel very proud that we have such artist in our village but his financial conditions is not good," said Laxman Safi, a villager His ambition is to teach this art to many people so that it gets popular throughout country.
