Kuala Lumpur, Apr 8 (ANI): Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said was put on a spot while he addressed questions on dirty public toilets and on Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee's impending visit to Terengganu.

He said the flushing down of sanitary pads, along with indiscriminate dumping of rubbish, into toilets had choked the plumbing systems.

"The fault lies with those who disregard cleanliness. Outsiders are disgusted and even the toilets at mosques are not spared. I feel embarrassed," the Star Online quoted him as telling Wan Hassan Mohd Ramli (PAS-Sura).

Earlier, on asking whether Rani's visit in June to shoot a romance movie would spread Bollywood culture to the state, Ahmad said the Bollywood entourage would shoot the movie, "not perform at karaoke outlets."

He was then asked the number of karaoke and other entertainment outlets that had been approved so far, and he replied 46. (ANI)
