Nepal's Madhesi party wants State Restructuring Ministry dissolved
Kathmandu, Sept 7 (ANI): Nepal's Terai-Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) on Sunday demanded to dissolve the Ministry of State Restructuring.
The party claimed that it was formed with no good intention and it was the work of one political party only, the central committee meeting of the party today concluded that the Ministry of State Restructuring should be dissolved immediately.
The TMDP claimed that the formation of the Ministry has challenged the scope of the Constituent Assembly's right.
The party also expressed its dissatisfaction over the distribution of the ministerial portfolios and setting up of new ministries.
It was also decided in the meeting to urge the government to commence national consensus and set up a fix date to address the problems of the Madhesh.
