Later in the night, there will be illumination and display of fireworks at PPP offices, the Dawn quoted the elated PPP workers as saying.
Last evening, Manzoor Wattoo, the adviser to the prime minister, threw an Iftar dinner for PPP MPAs and urged them to vote for the party's presidential candidate Asif Ali Zardari.
Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer also urged the MPAs to vote for Zardari in order to pay respect to the Bhutto family for its sacrifices for the country. He claimed that it was a desire of Benazir Bhutto to see her husband as head of the state. (ANI)
