Clarke reveals little on break-up with Lara Bingle

Wellington, Mar. 17 (ANI): Australian vice-captain Michael Clarke has said he can understand the intense media and public interest in his private life.

While refraining from revealing details of his break up with Sydney model Lara Bingle, Clarke said: "It's great to be here in New Zealand with my team."

"It has been obviously a very interesting couple of weeks. It's great to be back here in New Zealand with my team mates. The guys have been fantastic. They have been so supportive," he added.

When asked about the scrutiny on his private life, Clarke said: "Everybody's entitled to have their jobs to do I guess.

"I certainly understand that with being a professional athlete, that what you do on the field and off the field is going to be recognised," he added. (ANI)
