Four CRPF personnel injured in Srinagar grenade attack
Srinagar, Mar 14 (ANI): At least four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured in a grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir capital on Sunday afternoon.
The CRPF sources told Asian News International that the incident involved an injured sub inspector, one head constable and two constables.
According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, the attackers lobbed a hand grenade at a CRPF vehicle parked outside the local police station at Zaina Kadal area of Srinagar old city.
The grenade exploded inside the vehicle, injuring four personnel of the CRPF's 28th battalion.
Police added that the injured personnel have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Security personnel cordoned off the area and conducting search operations to nab attackers.
No militant organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANI)
