Second ODI Dhaka: Indian team sets a target of 285 runs for Bangladesh
May 12: Gautam Ghambir?s skillful ton helped Indian team to finish with a respectable innings of 285 runs, in the second ODI against Bangladesh. Ghambir smashed 101 runs of just 113 Balls. Earlier Indian captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to bat first.
This game like the first ODI also had a delayed start, and the match has been restricted to 49 overs for each inning.

Ghambir along with opening batsman Sehwag, gave India a good start of 43 runs. Sehwag once again disappointed his fans and was caught by Javed omar of Syed Rasel after scoring only 21 runs. This is not the first time that Sehwag got in and gave it away.
Dhoni continued to deliver his good performance and kept the momentum going. He was looking good at the crease till he lost his wicket after putting his 36 on board. Yuvraj singh also left for pavilion when he was shaping well the Indian score board. He scored 24 runs and was caught and bowled by Rafique.
South paw Dinesh Mongia again failed to impress selectors. He scored only 17 before losing his wicket. The consistent Dinesh Karthick also fell cheaply for a leg before to Rafique after scoring only 6.
The leg spinner and debutant Piyush Chawla replaced injured Sreeshant also didn?t bothered the scorers much. He was stumped for just one run to his name.
However skipper Rahul Dravid kept his cool and stayed at the crease till the end of the Indian innings. He remained unbeaten on 42, to ensure that India will reach 284 to test Bangladesh batting.
For Bangladesh Rafique took 3 wickets, Razak and Rassel took 2 wickets each while as Murtaza took one wicket in his last over.
