When 'British spy' Roald Dahl bedded an endless parade of women
New York, Sept 5 (ANI): One of the world's greatest authors of best-selling kids' classics, Roald Dahl, was a languid seducer who bedded an endless parade of women, according to a new book.
In her new biography on Dahl, named "The Irregulars," Jennet Conant has revealed that while working as a British spy in Washington during World War II, the writer enjoyed romps with a host of women.
And one of Dahl's conquests was Clare Boothe Luce, writer wife of Time publisher Henry Luce, whom, the writer claims, left him "all [bleep]ed out" after three nights in the sack.
"Dahl's superiors watched his rake's progress with grudging admiration," the New York Post, quoted Conant, as saying in the biography.
She added: A certain amount of hanky-panky was condoned, especially when it was for a good cause." (ANI)
