London, Mar 3 (ANI): Supermodel Naomi Campbell is unlikely to face criminal charges after being accused of hitting her driver in New York.
The catwalk queen's chauffeur, who was hired for a day, prompted a police investigation after claiming the 39-year-old hit him from the back seat of her luxury car in New York, reports the Mirror.
Police said the driver told them a small bruise and swelling under his right eye was caused by Campbell.
However, the authorities later said the driver has decided not to pursue the matter.
Police issued a harassment report in consultation with the district attorney's office because no officer witnessed what took place in the vehicle. The report doesn't carry any penalty.
Following initial reports of the alleged assault, Campbell's spokesman Jeff Raymond said that she would co-operate with police over the matter.
"There shouldn't be a rush to judgment. Naomi will co-operate voluntarily and there is more to the story than meets the eye," he said. (ANI)
