New York, Feb 23 (ANI): Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, is set to make her acting debut on show about teen pregnancy.
The announcement was made by ABC Family.
Bristol will play herself in an episode of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager", a show which tells the story of a girl who falls pregnant in her teens.
"I am thrilled to be on this show and to be part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy," the New York Post quoted Bristol, as saying in a statement.
Bristol will be cast as a pal of the show's protagonist.
The episode starring her will be aired later this summer when the series returns for its third season.
Bristol became mum in December 2008 at the age of 17. She is now an advocate for abstinence and an ardent campaigner against teen pregnancy. (ANI)
