London, Sept 3 (ANI): A massive fire engulfed the lobby of palatial 750million pounds hotel in Dubai, just days before it was due to open.

Although fire fighters were successful in saving the five star Atlantis Hotel, its grand entrance was left a blackened wreck, reports the Sun.

The workers were giving finishing touch to the hotel when the fire broke out. However, no casualties were reported.

The hotel, due to open on September 24, is situated on Dubai's man-made Palm Jumeirah peninsular.

It has 17 restaurants and a 42-acre waterpark within the sprawling grounds. (ANI)
