Boris Johnson bags 'Politician of the Year' title at GQ Awards
London, Sept 3 (ANI): Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, bagged 'Politician of the Year 'title at the GQ Awards.
While receiving the title in a ceremony held at the Royal Opera House in London, Johnson said: "What can I say? My cup truly runneth over."
Led Zeppelin bagged 'Outstanding Achievement' award, while the 'Inspiration Award' went to veteran crooner Tony Bennett.
'The Lifetime Achievement Award' went to photographer David Bailey, reports the Telegraph.
Gordon Ramsay received 'Entrepreneur of the Year' title but the 'Chef of the Year' honour went to his rival, Mark Hix, formerly of The Ivy and Le Caprice and now running his own eponymous London restaurant.
Men's magazine GQ organised the awards and other winners included boxer Joe Calzaghe as Sportsman of the Year, Sam Taylor-Wood as Woman of the Year, Gavin and Stacey actor James Corden as Breakthrough Talent and Burberry's Christopher Bailey as Designer of the Year.
