Schumacher having fun, "sleeping like a baby" preparing for F1 return
London, Feb 6(ANI): Seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher has said that he is having fun and "sleeping like a baby", as he prepares for his F1 return.
Schumacher's lack of worry may sound ominous to his title rivals after the 41-year-old finished his first full test day in three and a half years.
The former Ferrari ace completed 82 laps of Valencia's Ricardo Tormo circuit in his Mercedes.
Despite being nearly a second down on Fernando Alonso, who was making his Ferrari debut, Schumacher said: "I'm happy. We had a little hydraulic leak, but all in all, I'm very positive. The car is running very smoothly."
"I think we will be competitive, but whether it's a winning car or not, that's another story. It's a different team, a different environment, so there's lots of interesting things, but they are good fun. I've also slept very well. In fact, like a little baby, so it's been good," The Mirror quoted Schumacher, as saying.
Schumacher has agreed to a seven million pound deal to make a sensational comeback with Mercedes GP four years after he retired from the sport and will be looking forward to grab his eighth championship title this season. (ANI)
