London, Sep 1 (ANI): Erstwhile "king of pop" Michael Jackson is said to be living in the memories of his enviably glorious past, as he still puts up performances at home.
The 'Heal the World' popstar reportedly puts on full stage and performs versions of his superhits, but ironically only his children and staff at his rented mansion in Las Vegas constitute the audience.
Jackson's efforts to revive his career after being acquittal in a child molestation case seem to be going in vain.
His friends believe that his comeback dreams are fast vanishing despite plans to build a new theatre for him at a casino resort.
"Michael's a shadow of his old self and it's so terribly sad to see him dwelling on former glories," the Daily Star quoted a pal as saying.
"He's become obsessed with dressing up in his old glittering outfits and seems to be living completely in the past," the friend added.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson is not expected to turn up when his brothers Jermaine, Tito, Marlon and Jackie receive a Jackson Five lifetime achievement award in Beverly Hills. (ANI)
