Catholics invite Nevada-based Hindu leader for a dialogue
Washington, Sep.1 (ANI): Catholics have invited acclaimed Hindu leader Rajan Zed for an inter-faith dialogue.
Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, has been invited to attend the Diocesan Ecumenical Inter-religious Commission meeting of Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento on November 18.
Most Reverend William Keith Weigand, Bishop of Sacramento Diocese, in a letter to Zed, wrote, "With God's help, we can all work for understanding through dialogue so that all faiths may proclaim their message in peace, freedom and non-violence."
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has also invited Rajan Zed to its world headquarters in Maryland (USA) and meet its leaders.
The Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America invited him for Unity Walk in Washington DC.
The Church of Scientology International has expressed interest in working with him on inter-faith issues.
Zed has also been invited to formally inaugurate and bless the Christian church named Unity Church of Today.(ANI)
