Terror attack on Kailash Yatra foiled
Jammu, Aug 31 (ANI): Security forces have recovered three kgs of RDX and detonators allegedly targeted towards Kailash Yatra, which is scheduled to start from Bhaderwah town of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.
According to Defence Ministry sources, army troops busted a hideout on the route of Kailash Yatra at Ramtandu area and recovered three kgs of RDX, one .303 rifle, one AK magazine, 40 rounds, 7 detonators and 30 kg of ration, during a sanitisation operation.
They said that security forces foiled the militant's plan of targeting Kailash Yatra, which is scheduled to start from Bhaderwah town this afternoon.
Over 50,000 people are expected to throng the shrine.
The pilgrimage would commence from Bhaderwah town in Doda district and end at Kailash Kund on September two. (ANI)
