Eva Longoria Parker, Meryl Streep are distant cousins
London, December 29 (ANI): Actresses Eva Longoria Parker and Meryl Streep are part of the same family, according to a documentary.
The Mamma Mia! and Desperate Housewives stars, along with The Graduate director Mike Nichols are all distant cousins, claims 'Faces Of America'.
Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr, the author behind the four-part genealogical series, used DNA to explore the family history of 12 famous Americans, reports the Daily Express.
The expert found that 60-year-old Streep and 34-year-old Parker were related.
In the documentary Parker says: "I find it fascinating to know where people are from, why they speak their language, what was their history. I think it's important to know where you've been to know where you're going." (ANI)
