'Charlie Sheen threatened wife with knife'

New York, Dec 28 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen had threatened his wife with a knife, according to law enforcement sources.

The 'Two and a Half Men' star was arrested Christmas Day on two felonies one of them was felony menacing - a threat involving a deadly weapon, reports the New York Post.

According to Daily Telegraph in Sydney, wife Brooke Mueller has reportedly told cops that Sheen was in possession of a knife and threatened her with it.

Sources said the couple had been drinking when Sheen allegedly grabbed Mueller by the throat and she called the police.

However, police have not confirmed what kind of weapon Sheen was alleged to have used.

Meanwhile, Mueller is said to have recanted her domestic violence claims.

According to TMZ, Mueller had registered a blood alcohol reading of 0.13 soon after she called 911 at 8:34am on Friday to say her husband attacked her during an argument.

Since then, according to sources, she has refused to speak to police further, and has taken back her story. (ANI)
