Roman Abramovich planning œ3m star-studded bash
London, December 27 (ANI): Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich is reportedly planning a 3-million-pound extravaganza on the Caribbean resort island of Saint Barth‚lemy.
The 43-year-old owner of Chelsea football club recently bought the Gouverneur Bay estate, a 54-million-pound 70-acre cove surrounded by hills leading down to a beach.
Abramovich was said to be making arrangements for a beach party expected to host around 250 people.
Singer Prince was said to have been roped in for a performance at a reported fee of 500,000 pounds.
"Roman is new to the island and wants to come in with a bang," Times Online quoted a party source as saying.
"He's keeping the guest list a closely guarded secret but it's going to be a mix of celebrities and business people.
"You can expect that an invitation will be extended to people such as Sir Philip Green, Jude Law and Simon Cowell, who are all only 40 minutes or so away by jet," the source added. (ANI)
