London, December 27 (ANI): Mariah Carey was said to have ditched her make up for her new film Precious.
The 40-year-old singer reportedly shot for most days without her gloss, mascara, foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow, blusher, eyeliner and carefully coiffured hair.
The R and B lady apparently won admiring nods from film critics with her portrayal of a dowdy social worker called Mrs Weiss, reports the News of the World.
The movie tells the story of a troubled teenager in 1980s Harlem, New York and is set for UK release next year. (ANI)
