Lok Janshakti Party demands dismissal of Bihar Government
New Delhi, Dec 27 (ANI): The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has demanded dismissal of the Nitish Kumar led Government in Bihar.
The LJP held a demonstration in New Delhi on Saturday demanding e-elections in the state.
JP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, who led the march, accused the Bihar government of being corrupt and playing divisive politics.
The LJP also lashed out at the Nitish Kumar led Government of dividing the low castes.
"This march is against the total failure of the Bihar government. The government of Bihar is creating rifts within the Dalit (low-caste) community, instead of working for the development; they are playing the politics of divide and rule," said Paswan.
"They alienated the Paswan (a low-caste community) and divided the Dalit community.
Backwards are being pitted against the extremely backward. Small Landholders are pitted against the farmers. This is an inefficient government and we are boycotting the government and demanding re elections in Bihar, through this march," he added.
Paswan also said that his party would present a memorandum to President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil over the issue.(ANI)
