London, Dec 24 (ANI): Loved-up Lily Allen has rumour mills running after she flashed a ring on her engagement finger.

The 'Fear' singer, 24, has fuelled speculation that she is to marry builder boyfriend Sam Cooper, 44, when she slipped a sparkler on her ring finger during a posh night out.

In fact, she tried to hide the ring behind her bag, setting tongues wagging about a possible formal alliance between the lovebirds.

The couple even joined Cooper's family for a meal at London's Quo Vadis, sparking rumours the get together could have been a cover story for the couple's engagement.

"It seemed like they were celebrating something but Lily's smile vanished when she saw the cameras," the Daily Star quoted an onlooker as saying.

"She looked determined not to have her picture taken with the ring on. It looked like she had something to hide," said the onlooker.

The star's spokesman denied engagement rumours, saying: "She is not engaged. She often wears a ring on that finger." (ANI)
