Roman Polanski working on film under house arrest
Washington, Dec 21 (ANI): Troubled filmmaker Roman Polanski is not letting his courtroom woes interrupt the editing of his latest flick The Ghost Writer.
He is undertaking the post-production work on the movie even as he is under house arrest in Switzerland.
Polanski is wanted in the US for having illegal sex with a teenaged girl in the late 1970s. He had fled the US to France in 1978, just before he was about to be sentenced.
Meanwhile, the Rosemary's Baby director has engaged himself with his films, while his extradition to the US will be decided early next year.
"It's in fact very impressive. He is in the process of finishing at a distance the editing of his next film, which I understand will be in the official selection at the next Berlin Festival," Contactmusic quoted Polanki's friend, French philosopher Bernard-Henri Levy as telling the Lausanne-based weekly Le Matin Dimanche.
Levy, who visited Polanski in his chalet in the luxury Swiss resort of Gstaad earlier this month, added that the director is as strong as "a rock". (ANI)
