Jammu-Kashmir arrest two persons for kidnapping a newly wedded woman
Srinagar, Dec.17 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir police, as part of its continuous drive against social crimes, has arrested two persons who allegedly kidnapped a newly wedded woman here recently.
Acting on a complaint lodged by the woman's husband Asiq Ahmad Rather, son of Mohammad Sultan, a resident of Indira Nagar, Srinagar, the Jammu and Kashmir succeed in nabbing the kidnappers.
Asiq in his complaint said that his newly wed wife has been kidnapped by Reyaz Ahmad Mir Shalla, son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a resident of Lasjan and Mudasir Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a resident of Lasjan.
Police registered a First Information Report under section 366, 109 RPC at Pantha Chowk police station and the investigation into the incident was carried out which yielded in discovery of the kidnapper woman. (ANI)
