Indranil confessed seeing Rizwanurâ??s abductor
Nov 05: The murder mystery of Rizwanur Rehman seems to be far from reaching to a conclusion with the unravelling of new link in this strange murder case.
In a recent unfolding a man called Indranil Ghosh claimed to a private channel that he had seen Rizwanur being kidnapped from Khanna Crossing by four persons on September 21, the day when he was murdered.

It was an ambassador in which he was forced and moved toward Ultadanga.
After the interview, Indranil was summoned by CBI officials for further interrogations.
Arun Kumar, Joint Director, CBI (Special Crime Branch) told after the interrogation, “We have heard his version, but have not recorded his statement. We are verifying his claims. But if he misleads us we will definitely take action”.
Indranil confessed that he was able to recognise one of the abductor who was also involved in the murder of one of his relative and is a real estate developer in South Kolkata.
He identified the abductor as Anjan Das, a promoter of East Jadavpur, who is accused of killing Indranil’s brother-in-law Anup Das on January 23, 2007. Anjan has been absconding ever since.
Meanwhile, CBI is unable to give its comment that whether Indranil is the same person who wrote a letter to CBI unanimously claiming that he saw Rizwanur being kidnapped on the same unfateful day.
But this revelation has jeopardised the investigation agency theory which was mulling a suicide theory.
Meanwhile, Priyanka who was silent on all the proceeding has stated that her father Ashok Todi had broken all the communication with her husband Rizwanur. She had alleged that her relative used to emotionally blackmail her and that it was on September 11 she last talked to Rizwanur.
With Indranil’s confession and Priyanka’s breaking of silence after a long time might give a new insight into this mysterious case.
Earlier in September 21, Rizwanur’s dead body was found near a railway track. This Graphic Designer married Priyanka Todi, daughter of industrialist Ashok Todi under Special Marriage Act against Priyanka’s parents will.
The case is being investigated by CBI.
