Tiger Woods told to 'mend it like Beckham'
London, December 10 (ANI): Tiger Woods has been advised to walk the line treaded by David Beckham to repair his tainted reputation.
The golf great has been controversy laden since his mysterious car accident outside his Florida mansion on Thanksgiving.
Woods' private life has been bombarded with reports of infidelity with links to as many as 11 women.
Andrew 'Chubby' Chandler, head of the International Management Group that handles ace golfers, recommended the billionaire sportsman could bounce back just like Beckham, who was also accused of having an extra marital affair in 2004.
"It will take time to repair, but I think it can be done. David Beckham is the only one I can liken Woods to. He went through pretty much the same thing and it passed in about nine months," the Sun quoted Chandler as saying.
"Now he's a super-hero again who might single-handedly bring the World Cup to England," he added.
Chandler continued: "Beckham had a very strong wife who stood by him. The circumstances with Tiger might be different, but I think he'll get his life back on track.
"I don't think Tiger will ever be able to be as private as he was, though. He's got to be more accessible from now on." (ANI)
