London, Dec.7 (ANI): One of Britain's most experienced ex-policemen has warned England football fans to "Watch your back in South Africa."
Former Detective Superintendent Neil Thompson, who helped run the elite National Crime Squad, reckons the World Cup host country is a danger to Three Lions supporters.
According to The Telegraph, he believes it is inevitable fans will be victims of vicious attacks and muggings.
He said: "There is a high level of crime in South Africa. The standard of policing is not good. I've lived in Cape Town for the last two and a half years and I know what it is like." (ANI)
