Agra, Dec 4 (ANI): Irate students of Raja Balwant Singh College of Agra went on rampage on Thursday over the suspension of classes due to differences between the teachers and college management.
The students said, they have not had any lessons for past one month and as the academic year was drawing to an end, they wanted the teachers to sort out their differences and complete the syllabus.
"It is between the teachers and the management. We don't know what is happening. We are protesting because we want them to resume our classes. For their interests, they should not cause discomfort to students," said Sonu Chaudhari, a student.
However teachers said they were ready to teach but the administration had locked the classrooms.
"Some teachers are ready to teach but the problem is they have locked the class rooms, how are they going to teach?" said Hari Nimohi, a teacher.
The students threatened to go on a fast unto death if the classes were not resumed. (ANI)
