Mumbai, Dec.3 (ANI): Sri Lankan opener Tillakaratne Dilshan and Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh have said the Brabourne Stadium pitch for the third and final Test in the ongoing series is ideal for both bowlers and batsmen.

On the opening day of the 3rd and final Test in India's western Mumbai, Dilshan made a fine century (109), his sixth Test century of the year, while Harbhajan bagged four for 107.

"I think this is a very good Test wicket...bowlers can bowl in good areas, spinners start turning in the first session. I think very good Test wicket, not easy to bat on in the middle," said Dilshan.

"It is a very, very good track to bat, to bowl. It's you know if you see today's day they have got 101 and batsman is batting on 90 and seamers when they have bowled in right areas something has happened. Even for spinners there is bounce. And it's first day and this is, I would say, kind of wicket we should play Test cricket on," said Harbhajan.

India leads the series 1-0 after thumping Sri Lanka by an innings and 144 runs in the second test in Kanpur last week. The high-scoring first Test in Ahmedabad ended in a draw. (ANI)
