Tommy Hilfiger loses out in luxury estate sale

Washington, Nov 27 (ANI): Tommy Hilfiger did not make a handsome profit for a change - his Connecticut luxury estate, which he had bought for 18 million dollars, sold out for 8 million dollars less than the asking price.

The fashion mogul had bought the Greenwich home four years ago.

The slump in the market caused the mansion's price to slip and Hifiger who had hoped to sell the house for 28million only got 20million from its sale, reports Contactmusic.

The sprawling home has eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a 2,000-bottle wine cellar and an indoor basketball court. (ANI)
