Kate Moss to publicly pig out on food to quash rumours she doesn't eat

London, Nov 25 (ANI): Brit model Kate Moss is set to eat loads of food in public just to prove critics that she does eat.

Moss, 35, who had infuriated healthy eating campaigners by claiming, "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels", is determined to put rumours of her not eating to rest.

She has planned a pal's birthday celebrations to take place at an open-air restaurant, where she will be seen bingeing on the bread basket, scoffing spaghetti and gorging on gateaux during the "impromptu" get together.

"Kate was deeply hurt by the backlash against her. She does eat and would hate to be a role model for anorexic websites," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

"She is sensible about what passes her lips but she is rarely pictured eating.

"It's her friend Fiona's birthday and Kate has taken control of proceedings. She is insisting on an al fresco dinner - where the paparazzi will be rife.

"Once she is seen to be tucking into her grub with gusto, Kate hopes to put an end to the criticism once and for all," the source said.

Moss has invited hairdresser James Brown, Sadie Frost and Jake Chapman to the feast, and it is rumoured everyone's been ordered to help load her plate as high as humanly possible.

"For one day only, she will be the great human eating machine," the source added. (ANI)
