Liverpool's Benayoun used human placenta to treat his injuries
London, Nov. 24 (ANI): Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun has revealed he used human placenta to heal his injuries.
Benayoun is one of several stars to visit Serbian healer Marijana Kovacevic.
Until now it was being said that they were treated with horse placenta, but Benayoun disclosed another story.
"She explained everything and told me she would be using fluid from a woman's placenta. Nothing went into the muscle. It was a case of massaging the liquid on to the skin and letting it get to work," The Sun quoted Benayoun, as saying.
"There were no animal parts used and it meant I was able to play again within a fortnight," he added.
Benayoun's teammate Glen Johnson, Arsenal ace Robin van Persie and Chelsea's Frank Lampard have also been treated by Kovacevic. (ANI)
