The Supreme Court has asked the home secretary of Bengal the reason for not registering the FIR when Jatin Sarkar’s body was recovered from Bhagirathi river in Murshidabad district of Bengal.
This is to be known that his diseased body was found on September 01 just before he was to testify in Ghaziabad court against Pandher. Police said that his post mortem assessment confirmed of his death by drowning while his wife complained of his murder because he had filed an application in the CBI court when the agency cleared Pandher of charges.
Vandana said that no FIR was registered even after her complaint to the SP of the city. In her petition she alleged that CBI officials including CBI director and superintendent are trying to save the accused.
Court sent notices to the center and governments of UP and West Bengal too on her petition for protection for herself and other relatives of Nithari victims.
Pandher was arrested last year in December with his servant Surender Koli for murdering numbers of children.
