MJ's nephew Taj 'joins board of executors of his $1bn estate'

London, November 22 (ANI): Michael Jackson's nephew Taj has reportedly been roped in by the administrators of the late singer's estate to join the board of executors in charge of his 1-billion-dollar property.

He will now be part of the deciding body, which will decide on how to distribute Jackson's cash.

Seemingly, administrators John McLain and John Branca made the deal to prevent the Pop Legend's mother Katherine from challenging the 2002 will once again.

Last week, she dropped plans to challenge the will, which empowered McClain and Branca to oversee her son's fortune.

"Taj has been invited onto the board. It seems to be a trade off to keep Katherine from challenging the estate in the long term" the News of the World quoted a source as saying.

The source said: "She dropped her objection, ad now Taj will represent the family in estate matters."

Tito's son, Taj, is apparently close to the 'Thriller' hitmaker's kids Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket.

The insider added: "Taj is close to the children and to her grandmother, so this is a compromise to keep everyone happy.

"The children will have him as their mouthpiece on future decisions about their dad. He is there to protect the family's interests." (ANI)
