BJP diverts attention from fake encounter case, House adjourned for third day also
May 09: On the insistence of SP members on discussion of the issue of fake encounters by IPS officers in Gujrat, discussion on other matters could not be held and Speaker Somnath Chatterji adjourned the House till 1400 hours.
The Speaker repeatedly tried to convince members to take an attention on Setusamudram project first and then fake encounter issue, but neither listened to the request of the speaker and interrupted the proceedings.

On one hand the left, SP and RJD pressed for taking up the issue of Gujrat, whereas BJP showed inclination to the Setusamudram project. The SP members accused BJP of taking the case out of the sight of parliament.
The Speaker got agitated when members did not let him take any other important matter. With that the House has been adjourned for three consecutive days. Today was the third day when speaker had to adjourn the House.
